నిర్మలమైన నీ కనులు అత్యంత సుందరంగా ఉన్నాయి.

వాటిని నేను రంగులతో, పక్షులతో నింపదలుచుకున్నాను,

ఒక కొత్త జంతు ప్రపంచం

దానికేపేరు పెడతావో నువ్వే ఊహించు—

‘తుహినకుసుమ’మా, మోహన మురళీ

చిన్నారీ…

మొనదేరిన అంకురం,

పోలికలు ఉదాత్తంగా

సాంప్రదాయికంగా ఉండే సరస్సు…

వ్యాకులమైన మనసుతో

చేతులు నులుపుకుంటూ,

చుక్కలెరుగని చూరుకింద కూచోడం కాదు.
