Listening to the affairs of changing Seasons
thawing ice, leaves its last wet traces …
A memory stops me on a chilly night
holding me by my little finger …
What is night, after all?
Just disappearance of your voice!
I still light my each day
with your last greeting heard decades back;
Bowers of reconciliation
surround the ebony hole around the heart;
Sprinkling handfuls of waters of hope
every now and then is inevitable!
When the few jasmines of affection hold up
the absent-minded west wind on a moony night,
old moments of caressing shower around.
When the pigeon in its nest
turns restlessly towards the other side in sleep,
it only retraces the imprints of your lips on my lids.
The springs of tears that suddenly swell up in my eyes
soak up the inertial Time and say:
In a world that finds no trace of you
well, it might be possible to live,
But, not that easy!!!

మారుతున్న మాసాల ఊసు వింటూ
కరుగుతున్న ఆఖరి మంచు జాడల తడి…
చలి రాత్రిలో
జ్ఞాపకమొకటి చిటికినవేలు పట్టుకు ఆపింది…
రాత్రంటే నీ మాటలు మాయమవడమేగా!
దశాబ్దాల క్రితం వినబడ్డ నీ చివరి పలకరింపుతోనే
ప్రతి పగలునీ వెలిగించుకుంటాను…
మనసుకి పడ్డ నల్లరంధ్రం చుట్టూ సంధిభావాల పూలపొదలు…
దోశెడు ఆశల నీళ్ళు ఝాము ఝాముకీ చిలకరించక తప్పదు!
ఏ వెన్నెల రాత్రో నాలుగు ఆప్యాయతల మల్లెలు
పరాకుగా వెళ్తున్న పడమటిగాలిని పట్టి ఆపగానే
ఒకప్పటి స్పర్శాక్షణాలన్నీ
చుట్టూ జలజలా రాలతాయి..
గూటిలోని గువ్వ పక్కకి వత్తిగిల్లిన చప్పుడు
నా కనురెప్పలపైన నీ పెదవుల ముద్ర
ఆనవాలుని వెదికి తెచ్చింది..
కన్నుల్లో చప్పున కదలాడిన సెలయేటి కెరటాలు
కదలనంటోన్న కాలాన్ని తడిపేస్తూ చెప్తున్నాయి….
నీ జాడ లేని ప్రపంచంలో
బ్రతకడం
సాధ్యమే కానీ సులభం మాత్రం కాదు!!
