We misread.
Take the foam afloat the tides
As mark of violence
Oblivious to compassion
Lying, as ovum, beneath the sea floor.
We never learn.
Expect voices lie in audible spectrum
Without realizing,
Whether it greets with love
Or attacks in anger
A Tiger’s voice lies on the same scale.
We don’t realize.
Treat it a sin
When somebody is taciturn
Failing to distinguish
Between diffidence
And conceit.
We don’t empathize.
If someone opens his heart out
Oblivious to favors and prejudice,
We take it as his vanity,
Failing to discern
Studied opinion
From Carping
Without attempting to know,
Recognize, realize or observe
We march ahead with confidence
With our preconceived notions.
