The Sun is a dexterous weaver.
On the loom of sky
With his fine ray-threads
Weaves a spectral rainbow.
The Sun is a consummate archer.
In the coppice of cosmos
With his sharp arrow-beams
Shoots down the tigress of darkness.
Sun is a passionate lover
Climbing down the stairs of firmament
Plants deep Kisses on sleepy eyes of earth
With his first shafts of myriad hues.

సూర్యుడు

సూర్యుడు నేతగాడు
తన కిరణాల దారాలతో
ఆకాశం మగ్గం మీద
ఇంద్రధనుస్సు వ్యూహాన్ని నేస్తాడు
సూర్యుడు వేటగాడు
తన కిరణాల బాణాలతో
ఆకాశం అరణ్యంలో
చీకటి చిరుత పులుల్ని వేటాడుతాడు
సూర్యుడు ప్రియుడు
కోటి కిరణాల తొలి కాంతిలో
ఆకాశం అంతస్తు దిగి
భూదేవి మూగకన్నుల్ని మనసా ప్రేమిస్తాడు
