The granny who fed telling me stories is not around,
I don’t feel hungry anymore, now.
Toys lie scattered around
Playmates flock around me. But,
The grandpa who amused shouldering me is not around
I don’t have the humour to play any more now.
Amidst the four towering walls
Tucking the tears of memories away
I silently await the dawn of the day
When I can get back home.
