The times when I loved her,

and the times when I can’t help loving her.

It never occurred to me how time would pass without her;

All these days, amidst enveloping despair,

I could understand I was better off because of her,

But strange, I could never understand her.

People say that I had changed remarkably since her friendship.

Very True. My lyric is for her; and my song is for her;

I kindle my heart and await her in darkness.

I assume a different bod every day and incinerate.

It’s beyond anybody to imagine

The tragedy in possessing her and the blessing in losing.

Maybe, that there was life before seeing her is a fact.

But that was inanimate;

What if she had left me with a wound?

There’s pleasure in reminiscing her

for turning me into a being.

ఉన్నవి రెండు కాలాలు. ఆమెని ప్రేమించిన కాలం. ప్రేమించకుండా ఉండలేని కాలం.

ఆమెలేని రోజులు ఎలా గడుస్తాయనే ఆలోచన వచ్చేది కాదు. ఇన్ని రోజులు, ఇంతనిరాశలోనూ ఆమె ఉన్నందుకే నేను బాగున్నానని తెలుసుకున్నాను కాని ఆమెనితెలుసుకోలేదు.

ఆమె పరిచయంతోనే ఇంతగా మారనంటారు కొందరు.నిజమే, ఆమె కోసమే రాస్తాను. ఆమెకోసమే పాడతాను. ఆమెకోసం చీకట్లో హృదయంవెలిగించుకు నిల్చుంటాను. ఆమెకోసం ప్రతిరాత్రి కొత్త దేహమై దహించుకుపోతాను.నన్ను కోల్పోవటంలోని సంతోషం, ఆమె దక్కడంలో ఉన్న విషాదం ఎవరూ ఊహించలేనిది.

ఆమెకి ముందు ఉన్న జీవితమే వాస్తవమై ఉండొచ్చు. అది ప్రాణంలేనిది. గాయంచేసినా సరే, ప్రాణస్పృహ కల్గించిన ఆమెని గుర్తుచేసుకోవటంలో ఆనందం ఉంటది.
