In the bubbling laughter of collecting tads of paper
Declaring an uncalled for breather all of sudden
No sooner she locks my knees with her tender hands…
There springs in my eyes anew
A green memory of mother’s moist hand
When she kissed tweaking my cheek
Stopping her work in the middle
Long long ago.
