All of a sudden
I hit upon some page
where I find myself there…
From the book inverted
silence dribbles memories…
as the tips of the fingers sift the mind through.
What can I write about this moment?
.
Some moments can never be put down! That’s all!
.
Yet, there’s something to write about…
Apart from truth, terra and day
or fancy, firmament and night
.
Something like the chaotic world
that slips heavily through the eyelids
at the night after the second watch…
.
Something ephemeral like a Higgs Boson
as trillions of particles collide all at once
.
Something akin to life’s journey
which we long to revisit on occasion
but it never occasions and we march ahead
.
There’s something for sure
May not be the destination, though.
.
There must be some aura
more awesome than the tune we could catch
or the haunting expression we wanted to write…
like a drop of rain trickling from nowhere
like the dream of the night we forget first in the morning!
.
It remains elusive still
Is it a song? Or a sound?
