Suffering the turmoils within

what does he do alone?

Sitting on the sandy shore

He would pen poems on the spurgy tides;

going lyrical at the undulating waves and the swaying froth

he would hum a tune striking a rhythm with their balletic steps.

when the tide overwhelms him

he would be perturbed  like a fry

and if life also recedes from him with the tide…

he hides cozily in sands like any other cowry.

He would never reveal to anybody

that the Sea was in love with him;

Nobody would ever make out

that he had longed for the turmoil.

All that would ever be known is…

that he is no more…

Nanda Kishore is a young engineer (EEE) from Warrangal. He is very prolific on Facebook and particularly active “Kavisangamam” group.

He has just released his maiden volume of poetry “Neelage okadundevaadu” (There was one like you).

ఒక్కడూ ఏం చేస్తాడు?

కల్లోలాన్ని అనుభవిస్తూ
ఒక్కడూ ఏం చేస్తాడు?

తీరాన కూర్చుని
కెరటాల్నిగురించి కవిత్వం రాస్తాడు.
అలలమీదా,నీటితరగల నాట్యం మీదా
పదాలు అల్లుతూ పాటకడతాడు.

ఉప్పెనమీదికి వచ్చి ఊపిరిసలపకుండాచేస్తే
చేపపిల్లలాగా తుళ్ళిపడతాడు.
అలలలతోపాటే ఊపిరికూడాపోతే
ఇసుకలో గవ్వలా దాగిపోతాడు.

సముద్రం వాణ్ణి  ప్రేమించిందని
ఎవ్వరికీ చెప్పడు.
కల్లోలాన్ని వాడు కోరుకున్నట్టు
ఎప్పటికీ తెలీదు.

తెలిసేదల్లా
వాడికలేడనే!
