Hot footing over sand dunes with whispers
A hum breezes into the heart.
Holding by the little finger it transports you
Thousands of miles hence with her rhythm.
It feasts ears
Lading winds with perfumes,
And paints the innards of the heart with
An exotic amalgam of past lives and ancient glories.
Enraptured by the melody dabbed in grace
The ecstatic soul loses its essence.
The shoots of pleasure sprouting under the sonorous rain
Bid good bye to all misery.
Over the reeds of beats and notes
The door to the heavenly holds opens up.
So long as the spell of the music sustains
Joy leaps up to cloud nine
And hovers over the bowers of heart.
The moment rendering ceases
Pain resurrects
And the body yearns for another daub of melody
As agony mounts to veritable bounds of Hell.
Life without music
Is but an existence inanimate.
