That endless abysmal strains of grief,

Which blossom as clear chrysanthemum of smiles

On the lips of a babe

Hope

That eons-familiar mystic astral-drizzle

that rains unseen at night

On the expansive silent seas of darkness

Hope

Which walks with green grassy step (pie)s

Through the sand storms of Saharan Desert

Hope

That lukewarm bonfire warmth of faggots

Kindled on the solidified icy Arctic seas

Hope

That  streak of  lightning 

like the glittering cardinal rays of  rising sun

That kiss the earth on its head

Hope

That comes floating on the chariot

Of wafting cloud currents

Hope

That lilting little cool moonbeam

Advancing on the swing of crescent moon

Hope

That animate primitive dormant dreams in me

Touching my dreamy eyes ethereally  like peacock plumes,

Hope

That enduring water-spring amidst the heaps of sandy debris

Annals of destructive degenerate human civilizations

Hope

That pleasant seizure of desire

That showers fragrances of green champak

 On the lacerated life

Hope

That warm soothing embrace of a mother

To a wailing kid vanquished in his play

Hope

That inviting tintinnabulation of anklet bells

In the profound silence of

Encircling Aimless culs-de-sac,

Hope

That spec of spark that lights life eternally

Hope

That pulsating life of man who unveiled a supreme wonder

Hope

That din of gallant resistances by the common men

Hope

That Morning Star which kindly leads the way

When the earth under the feet suddenly gives in

,

Hope!

Come ! Settle on my sails of dreams

Becoming  a spectral hued butterfly!

సప్తవర్ణాల ఆశ

.

అనంత దుఃఖరాగాల అగాథాల్లోంచి

పసిపాప పెదవులపై పూసిన

చిరునవ్వుల చామంతుల్లా ఆశ

నిరాశామయ చీకటి సముద్రాలపై

రాత్రి రహస్యంగా కురిసే

నక్షత్రాల చిరపరిచిత చిరుజల్లులా ఆశ

సహారా ఎడారుల ఇసుక తుఫాను మధ్య

గరిక పచ్చని మైదానాల పాదాలతో నడిచి వెళ్ళే ఆశ

అంటార్కిటికాలో ఘనీభవించిన మంచు సముద్రాలపై

వెలిగించిన నెగళ్ళ నులివెచ్చని వెచ్చదనం లా ఆశ

భూమి శిరస్సును ముద్దాడే వెలుగు కెరటాల

సూర్యోదయంలా తళుక్కున మెరిసే ఆశ

తెలిమబ్బు కెరటాల తేరుపై ఊరేగుతూ వచ్చే ఆశ

నెలవంక ఊయలపై వెన్నెల్లా చల్లగా ఊగుతూ వచ్చే ఆశ

నెమలి పింఛంలా నా కలల కళ్ళని

సుతారంగా తాకి నిదురించే

అనాది స్వప్నాల్ని మేల్కొలిపే ఆశ

విధ్వంసక మానవేతిహాసాల శిధిల

నాగరికతా ఇసుక మేటల మధ్య ఆరని నీటిచెలమలా ఆశ

క్షతగాత్ర జీవితంపై కురిసే

పున్నాగపూల పరిమళంలా హాయిగా కమ్ముకునే ఆశ

ఆటలో ఓడి ఏడ్చే బిడ్డని ఒడిజేర్చి

ఓదార్చే తల్లిలా ఆశ

దారులన్నీ మూసుకుపోయిన గమ్యరాహిత్యాల

నిరామయ నిశ్శబ్దాల మధ్య

చిరుమువ్వల సవ్వడిలా పిలిచే ఆశ

అనుశృతంగా జీవితాన్ని వెలిగించిన అగ్ని కణంలా ఆశ

మహాద్భుతాన్నావిష్కరించిన మనిషి ప్రాణ స్పందనలా ఆశ

సామాన్యుల సాహసోపేత ప్రతిఘటనల పెనుఘోషలా ఆశ

నమ్ముకున్న నేల పాదాలకింద ముక్కలైనా

వేగుచుక్కయి వెలుగుదారిచూపే ఆశ

ఆశా!

నాకలల తెరచాపపై

సప్తవర్ణాల సీతాకోక చిలుకలా వచ్చి వాలు!
