తెలివితక్కువ పెట్టుబడికి కొందరిని మూర్ఖుడని హేళన చేస్తే, ఇంకొందరిని వృధాగా ఖర్చు చేసినందుకు మూర్ఖుడంటారు; ఈ ఇద్దరికంటే, పెద్దమూర్ఖుడు చివరకి పశ్చాత్తాపాన్ని మూటగట్టుకునే వాడు.

 

449. Some are weather-wise, some are otherwise.

 

కొందరు వాతావరణాన్ని (అనువుగా / వాటంగా ఉన్న సమయాన్ని) బాగా అంచనా వెయ్యగలరు; తక్కిన వారు దానికి భిన్నం.  (-wise అన్న పదంతో చమత్కారం గమనించ దగ్గది.)

 

450. Some make conscience of wearing a hat in the church, who make none of robbing the altar.
