ఎక్కడికైనా నడిచి వెళ్లగలిగేవాడు, మంచి గుర్రాన్ని మేపుతున్నట్టు

చెయ్యకూడనివి చేసేవాడు, కోరుకోనివి అనుభవిస్తాడు.

తొందరగా తాగేవాడు, అందరికంటే ఆలస్యంగా చెల్లిస్తాడు.

216. He who drinks his cyder alone, let him catch his horse alone.
ఒంటరిగా తాగేవాణ్ణి, వీలయితే ఎవరి తోడూ లేకుండా వాడి గుర్రాన్ని పట్టుకో మనండి.

217. He that falls in love with himself, will have no rivals.
తనమీద తనే ప్రేమలో పడే వ్యక్తికి పోటీదారులు ఉండరు.

218. He that goes far to marry, will either deceive or be deceived.
వివాహానికి దూర దేశానికి వెళ్ళేవాడు మోసమైనా చేస్తాడు, లేదా తనైనా మోసపోతాడు.

219. He that has a trade, has an office of profit and honor.
చేతిలో వ్యాపారం ఉన్నవాడికి లాభసాటి ఉద్యోగం, గౌరవం దక్కుతాయి.
