The fact that I am wingless

Has inhibited my desire to fly high into the sky

The concern for constraints of space

Restrained expanding my horizons

The fetters of the heart reconciled:

Pal! This is life.

There is always a conflict

Between the wonted common existence

And the uncommon exotic desires.

“Oh, you man, who proclaim

That there is nobody that you can believe!”

You are my inspiration in believing people!

“Why should the people I don’t believe

Should believe me?” … is the principal tenet of my faith.

That’s why I put my step into the air

And laid a stair onto the skies with ardour

Doubt retreated … taking to its heels

Now, the Trust-deficit, is piling up into Credits galore.

Mr Mahesh Kumar was born in Madanapalle of Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. He did his graduation from Regional College of Education, Mysore and  Post-Graduation from Central University, Hyderabad in Communications, but his heart is at short stories and film making.  He is an upcoming film director with some good short films to his credit.  He is active on Face Book and occasionally writes poetry.

రెక్కలు లేవనే నిజం

గాల్లోకి ఎగరాలనే కోరిక కంట్రోల్ చేసింది.

ఇమడలేనేమోనన్న భయం

విశాలపడటాన్ని నియంత్రించింది.

మనసుకున్న సంకెళ్ళు

ఇంతే జీవితమని ప్రభోధించింది.

 

సాధారణీకరించిన అస్తిత్వం

అసాధారణ ఆశలమధ్య

ఎప్పుడూ ఒక ఘర్షణ

 

“ఈ ప్రపంచంలో నేను నమ్మేవాళ్ళు ఎవరూ లేరు” అన్న ఓ మనిషీ !

మనుషుల్ని నమ్మడంలో నువ్వే నాకు ప్రేరణ.

మనం నమ్మని జనం మనల్నెందుకు నమ్మాలనే ఆలోచనే

నా నమ్మకానికి పునాది

అందుకే గాలిలోకి అడుగేసాను…

ఆకాశానికి ఆర్తితో నిచ్చెనేశాను…

అపనమ్మకం ఫలాయనం పఠించింది.
