ఈ రేయి ఎంత అందంగా ఉంది!

ప్రశాంతవాతావరణంలో మంచువంటి చల్లదనం;

మబ్బుగాని, మసకగాని, ధూళిగాని, నలకగాని

ఈ నిర్మలమైన ప్రకృతి ప్రశాంతతని భగ్నం చెయ్యడం లేదు.

నీలి నీలి రోదసి కుహరాల్లోంచి అదిగో దూరంగా

దివ్యమైన పూర్ణచంద్రబింబం  దొర్లిపోతోంది.

నిలకడగా కురిసే ఆ వెన్నెలల వెలుగులలో

దిగువన ఒక ఎడారి వృత్తం పరుచుకుని ఉంది

సముద్రంలా ఆకాశపువడ్డాణాన్ని తొడుక్కుని,

ఆహ్! ఈ రేయి ఎంత అందంగా ఉంది!

Night

 

 How beautiful is night!

 A dewy freshness fills the silent air;

 No mist obscures, nor cloud, nor speck, nor stain,

 Breaks the serene of heaven:

 In full-orb’d glory yonder Moon divine

 Rolls through the dark-blue depths.

 Beneath her steady ray

 The desert-circle spreads,

 Like the round ocean, girdled with the sky.

 How beautiful is night!
