Sometimes,

it would be just like that!

 

We would rather imprison

those butterflies of thoughts

in our heart

than allow them to float free

liberating from the sensibilities

 

Even as the rain water

Collected in the cusps of our hands

leaks out through the fissures

between fingers,

the chill and freshness

of the ethereal skies

linger still.

 

If you think

You have wasted your time

enjoying the pattering rain

And the prominent moonlight…

 

Well,

You know not what living after all, is!

కొన్నిసార్లంతే …

 

హృదయ స్పందనలోంచి పుట్టిన

భావాల సీతాకోక చిలుకల్ని

గుండెలోనే బంధించడం తప్ప

స్వేచ్చగా వదల్లేం…

 

దోసిట్లో పట్టుకున్న వాన నీరు

వేళ్ళ సందుల్లోంచి జారిపోయినా

ఆకాశపు కబుర్ల హాయి

అరచేతుల్లో ఇంకా చల్లగా …

 

కురిసే వర్షాన్నీ

పెరిగే వెన్నెలనీ

ఆస్వాదించిన సమయం

వృధా అనుకుంటే

బ్రతకడం రానట్టే …
