నీకున్న నిశ్శబ్దపు ముసుగు అద్దాలకి కూడా ఉండదు

తొలిసంధ్యవేకువకి కూడ నీపాటి రహస్యోదయం లేదు,

వెన్నెల వెలుగులో, మేము దూరం నుండి మాత్రమే

రహస్యంగా కనిపెట్టగలిగిన చిరుతవి నువ్వు.

 ఏ దైవేచ్ఛా పరికల్పనో తెలీదుగాని,

మేమెంత వెంటాడినా నిన్ను అందుకోలేము;

భాగీరథి కన్నా, సూర్యాస్తమయంకన్నా సుదూరంగా

నీ ఏకాంతం నీది, నీ రహస్యం నీది.

 చెయిజాచి అందించిన నా క్షణమాత్ర లాలనని

నీ వెన్ను అంగీకరించింది; నువ్వు కనికరించావు,

నాటినుండి అనునిత్యం ఈ స్నేహ హస్తం నుండి

ఇతని రచనలలో ప్రత్యేకత సాహిత్యంలో శూన్యత(మిధ్య).అతని కథలూ, కవితలూ సాహిత్యంలో బాగా ప్రాచుర్యంలోకి వచ్చిన  మేజికల్ రియలిజం అన్న ప్రక్రియకి దారితీసేయి. మేజికల్ రియలిజంలో ప్రథానంగా, కాలంతో  నిమిత్తం లేకుండా పాత్రలు వచ్చి పోతుంటాయి. (ప్రముఖ కథకులు మునిపల్లె రాజుగారు ఈ మేజికల్ రియలిజం మనకి కొత్త కాదనీ, ముఖ్యంగా భారతం లోనూ, రామాయణ, భాగవతాదుల్లో కూడ చాలా పాత్రలు ఇలాగే వస్తూ పోతుంటాయని చెబుతూ,ఆయనకూడా కొన్ని మంచికథలు వ్రాసేరు). నిజానికి ఈ మేజికల్ రియలిజం, 19వ శతాబ్దం లో సాహిత్యంలో వచ్చిన నేచురలిజం అన్న ప్రక్రియపై తిరుగుబాటు. ఈతని కథల్లో ఎక్కువగా, కలలూ, అద్దాలూ, జంతువులూ, మతమూ, భగవంతుడూ, తాత్త్విక చింతనా మొదలైనవన్నీ ఉంటాయి.
