  Television … రోవాల్ డాల్

  (ఈ కవిత టెలివిజను పిల్లలమీద ఎంత దుష్ప్రభావాలు చూపుతుందో వ్రాసింది. ఇది ప్రపంచ ఆంగ్లసాహిత్యంలో One Website ఎంపికచేసిన 500 ఉత్తమమైన కవితల్లో చాలా కాలం నుండి 15వస్థానంలోపునే ఉంది.) . పిల్లలకు సంబంధించినంతవరకు మనం నేర్చుకున్న అతిముఖ్యమైన విషయం ఏమిటంటే వాళ్ళని TV దరిదాపుల్లోకి ఎన్నడూ, ఎన్నడూ రానియ్యకూడదని… అంతకంటే మంచిది… వీలయితే ఇంట్లో ఆ బుధ్ధితక్కువ దాన్ని కొనిపెట్టకపోవడం. సుమారు ప్రతి ఇంట్లో పిల్లలు నోరువెళ్ళబెట్టుకుని TV చూడ్డం గమనిస్తూనే ఉన్నాం. వాళ్ళు అక్కడే…
