ముప్ఫై చువ్వలు చక్రానికున్న కన్నాలకు బిగించినపుడు

శూన్యమూ, పదార్థమూ జతకలుస్తాయి.

బండి నడుస్తుంది.

మట్టిని ఒక కూజా ఆకారంలోకి మలిచినపుడు

శూన్యమూ పదార్థమూ జతకలుస్తాయి.

కూజా పనిచేస్తుంది.

తలుపులూ కిటికీలూ గదికి దారి చేసినపుడు

శూన్యమూ పదార్థమూ జతకలుస్తాయి.

గది పనిచేస్తుంది.

నిజంగా అదంతే!

పదార్థం లాభపడుతుంది

శూన్యం దన్నుగా పనిచేస్తుంటే.

When thirty spokes join the wheel-hole

A void to matter paired.

The carriage functions.

When clay is thrown to form a vase:

A void to matter paired,

The vessel functions.

When door and window vent a room

A void to matter paired,

The chamber functions.

Surely is this so:

Materials avail,

Having void for function.
