బాగా అలసిపోయాం, ఎంతో ఉల్లాసంగా ఉన్నాం,
రేయల్లా తెప్పమీద రేవుని అటూ ఇటూ దాటుతూనే ఉన్నాం.
రాత్రి నిర్మలంగా, ప్రకాశంగా ఉంది, ఆ చోటు గుర్రాలశాల వాసనేసింది;
మేజాకి చేరబడి, చలిమంటకేసి చూస్తూ కూచున్నాం,
కొండకొమ్మున ఆరుబయట ఆకాశం క్రింద వెన్నెట్లో పడుక్కున్నాం;
గాలి ఈలలు వేస్తూనే ఉంది,అంతలోనే సూర్యోదయం కాజొచ్చింది.

మనం ఇచ్చిన ఆపిల్సూ, నేరేడుపళ్ళకి ఆమె ఆనందభాష్పాలతో దీవిస్తే
ఇంటికెళ్లడానికి ఖర్చులుంచుకుని మనదగ్గరున్నదంతా ఆమెకిచ్చేసేం.
