వర్ణహీనమైన చంద్రుడు పూరేకలా తేలియాడుతుంటే,

నను పొదువుకునేందుకు చేతులుజాచుకుంటూ, రా!

వీడని ముద్దుకై పెదాలు సిద్ధంచేసుకుంటూ రా!

రా! జీవితం, గడుస్తున్న వత్సరాల వలలో

ఎగురుతూ చిక్కిన ఒక బలహీనమైన చిమ్మట.

ఇంత కాంక్షతో రగిలే మన సంగతీ త్వరలో అంతే!
