జీవితమనే కదనరంగానికి ఇదిగో బిడ్డా,
నువ్వు ఏతెంచేవు, విజయ సూచకంగా అరుచుకుంటూ,
కానీ, ఒక సంఘర్షణ నుండి మరొక సంఘర్షణ లోకి
తమస్సీమలనుండి, సందేహాలలోకి అడుగిడుతునావు.
వయసనే సున్నితమైన కవచాన్ని ధరించి,
బిడ్డా, నువ్వు అనేక యుద్ధాలలో పాల్గొనాలి,
నిరసనలే నీ కృపాణాలుగా, సత్యమే నీ డాలుగా,
తారామండలాలను జయించడానికి ప్రేమే నీ పతాకం కావాలి.
నీ చుట్టూ ప్రపంచంలోని నిరాశానిస్పృహలు అలముకుంటాయి,
ఒకోసారి పరాజయం పాలై, దారివెతుక్కోవలసి వస్తుంది.
తప్పటడుగులువేస్తున్నవారికి, నువ్వు ప్రేరణవి కా;
నిరాశాతప్తమైన భవిష్యత్తుకి, ఆశాకిరణానివి కా!
నిబిడాంధకారంలో మునిగిన జగత్తుకి దివ్వెవు కా,
దాని నిర్లిప్తతపాలిటి ఒక భీమప్రహారానివి కా,
ఆ బాధల్లోంచే, అల్లకల్లోలంలోంచే నువ్వు వచ్చేవు,
ఆ కల్లోలంలోకీ, బాధలోకీ తిరిగి నిష్క్రమిస్తావు.
