Whether it is America or it is India, it is easy to flare up passions in the name of any divisive factor you can conceive of. It is for the bounden duty of intellectuals to repair the damage caused by such vested interests instead of backing them up identifying with their cause. “Life and right to survive”is a fundamental  right of every being on this earth. Nobody, no community or no race owns any piece of land on this earth or has any more right on a place than any other fellow being. All notions and demarcations of countries are just for matter of convenience. If you look into history of any family or race, they have been, and continue to be, migratory, nomadic or vagabonds. All of us are mendicants at the door step of this mother earth.  However powerful they be at any given moment, all reigns since times immemorial have only been ephemeral. It is not in Nature’s trait to permit the dominance of even the most powerful species for long on this vast stretch. The secret of our survival lies in collective sharing and growth and not in appropriating the resources for the benefit of the few.

While the criminals are guilty, (in an event like the one given below) they don’t deserve the blame entirely. Look at the perpetrators. History is about to repeat in America this time instead of Germany.

Adam W. Purinton, 51, allegedly shot Srinivas Kuchibhotla, 32; Alok Madasani, 32, of Overland Park, and another bar patron, 24-year-old Ian Grillot of Grandview.

Kuchibhotla died at a hospital after the 7:15 p.m. shooting in Austins Bar & Grill near 151st Street and Mur-Len Road.

 Medgar Evers  ఒక నల్లజాతి పౌరహక్కుల కార్యకర్త.  అతన్ని అతని ఇంటి సమీపంలోనే 1963 జూన్ 12 వతేదీన కాల్చి చంపారు. అతని స్మృతిలో  బాబ్ డిలన్ రాసిన గీతం ఇది.

మీరు వాళ్ళకంటే మెరుగు, మీరు తెల్లచర్మంతో పుట్టారు,” అంటాడు
ప్రత్యేకించి ఒక నల్లవాడి పేరు
తనకి లాభం చేకూర్చడానికి
అతను ప్రస్తావిస్తాడన్నది నిజం.
పాపం ఆ బీద తెల్లవాడు
ఆ రైలుబండిలోని వంటగదిలోనే మిగిలిపోతాడు.
కానీ అతన్ని మనం నిందించలేము.
అతను వాళ్ళ ఆటలో కేవలం ఒక పావు

డిప్యూటీ పోలీసు అధికారులూ, సైనికులూ, అధికారులందరికీ జీతాలొస్తాయి
మార్షల్స్ కీ, పోలీసులకీ జీతాలందుతాయి
పాపం ఆ బీద తెల్లవాదిని వాళ్ళందరూ ఒక సాధనంగా వాడుకుంటారు
ఆ తెల్లవాడికి బడిలో
మొదటినుండీ చట్టం
అతనికి అనుకూలంగా ఉంటుందని బోధిస్తారు
అందుకని అతడు తనని రక్షించుకుందికి
అతని ద్వేషాన్ని కొనసాగించడానికి
అతన్ర్టువంటి పరిస్థితిలో ఉన్నాడో
ఎన్నడూ తిన్నగా ఆలోచించడు.
అయినా అతన్ని నిందించడానికి ఏమీ లేదు

పేద గుడిశల్లోంచీ అతను దారిపొడుగునా ఉన్న గోతులు చూస్తాడు
అతని మెదడులో గుర్రాల డెక్కలు హోరుమంటుంటాయి
అతనికి జనసమూహంలో నడవడం ఎలాగో మప్పుతారు
ఒక్క క్షణంలో
చేతులు నేర్పుగా వంచి
వెనకనుండి కాల్చడం
అదను చూసి కడతేర్చడమూ
టోపీకింద ముఖం కనిపించకుండా దాగోడమూ
గొలుసుకి కట్టిన కుక్కని
చంపినట్టు చంపడమూ మప్పుతారు
అతనికి ఏ పేరూ ఉండదు.

కానీ అతనిమీద తూటాపేల్చిన వ్యక్తి
జీవితం చరమాంకానికి వచ్చినపుడు
అతను తన సమాధి దగ్గర
శాశ్వతంగా మిగిలే శిలాఫలకం మీద
అతని పేరుకి ప్రక్కనే ఇలా రాసి ఉండడం చూస్తాడు:

Medgar Evers was a black civil rights activist  who was assassinated on June 12, 1963,outside of his home in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2017, President Barack Obama designated his home a national historic landmark. Bob Dylan wrote this song in commemoration of Evers.

A bullet from the back of a bush took Medgar Evers’ blood
A finger fired the trigger to his name
A handle hid out in the dark
A hand set the spark
Two eyes took the aim

But he can’t be blamed
He’s only a pawn in their game

A South politician preaches to the poor white man
“You got more than the blacks, don’t complain.
You’re better than them, you been born with white skin,” they explain.
And the Negro’s name
Is used it is plain
For the politician’s gain
As he rises to fame
And the poor white remains
On the caboose of the train
But it ain’t him to blame
He’s only a pawn in their game

The deputy sheriffs, the soldiers, the governors get paid
And the marshals and cops get the same
But the poor white man’s used in the hands of them all like a tool
He’s taught in his school
From the start by the rule
That the laws are with him
To protect his white skin
To keep up his hate
So he never thinks straight

Today, Medgar Evers was buried from the bullet he caught
They lowered him down as a king
