ఇదిగో నిన్నే! శీతగాలికి ముఖమెదురొడ్డుతున్నవాడా!
హిమపరాగపు తెరలలో వేలాడుతున్న మబ్బులనీ,
గడ్డకట్టిన తారలలో నల్లని చెట్లకొమ్మలనీవీక్షిస్తున్నవాడా,
నీకు వసంతాగమనమంటే, పండగ వేళే లే!
ఇదిగో నిన్నే! సూర్యుడు అస్తమించిన పిదప
ఒక రాత్రి తర్వాత మరో రాత్రి, నిన్నావరించిన
చిమ్మచీకట్లలోనే వెలుగులకై వెదుకుతున్నవాడా
నీకు వసంతపు రాక మూడింతల ప్రభాతమే లే!
జ్ఞానం కోసం పరితపించకు … నా కెక్కడిదీ జ్ఞానం?
అయినా నా పాట సహజంగా ఆర్ద్రతతో వస్తుంది.
జ్ఞానంకోసం వెంపర్లాడకు… నా కెక్కడిదీ జ్ఞానం?
అయినా ఈ రేయి ఆలకిస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. ఊరికే కూచోడమన్న
ఆలోచనకే కలత చెందేవాడు, ఎన్నడూ ఊరికే ఉండలేడు.
తను నిద్రిస్తున్నాననుకునేవాడెప్పుడూ మేలుకునే ఉంటాడు.
