నూతన సంవత్సర శుభాకాంక్షలు

దాన్ని మరిచిపోనీండి, ఒక పువ్వుని మరిచిపోయినట్టు

ఒకప్పుడు పసిడికాంతులీనిన మంటను మరిచిపోయినట్టు.

దాన్ని మరిచిపోనీండి ఎప్పటికీ, శాశ్వతంగా.

కాలం ఒక మంచి మిత్రుడు, మనని త్వరగా వృద్ధుల్ని చేస్తాడు.

ఎవరైనా అడిగితే, ఎప్పుడో చాలా రోజుల క్రిందటే,

దాన్ని మరిచిపోయేనని చెప్పండి

ఒక పువ్వునీ, ఒక మంటనీ, ఎన్నడో ఏమరిచిన

మంచుదారిలో విడిచిన మౌన పాదముద్రనీ మరచినట్టు.
