To forget the time
When they two
Sweep about the garden
Like two
Little butterflies;
And like two buoyant fish
When they swim
In the bluish swimming pool.
That lone girl
Becomes a bond
Akin to a red ribbon
Tasseling two-braids …
And a colourful cloud
Raining endless showers
Of love…
The two…
Scating, chatting, eating, riding, writing
Whatever be the hour
Running one behind the other
Inseparably
Like a merry-go-round
In that garden.
No one knows
Who is happier in the piggy ride?
Who gleams like a rainbow
On the other’s smile?
Or,
Who hides and who seeks?
Time and again
My looks get
Riveted to them.
That moony little nymph
Teeming with effervescent child spirit
That waxing little
Crescent moon … all smiles.
And in her steps follows
Himself becoming a shield
For all seasonal elements
That youthful father
A prop
A support
A cover for her to grow on.
I would be watching those two

చూస్తుంటాను

పసితనాన్ని

దినదిన ప్రభార్ధమానమవుతోన్న
ఆ పసి నెలవంకని
ఆ చిట్టితల్లి వెన్నంటే
కదిలే
ఆరు రుతువుల
గొడుగై
ఆ బుజ్జితండ్రి
ఆ చిన్నారినాన్న మిన్నంటే
విరిసే
శతపత్ర ఆశల
