సందేహించనక్కరలేదు, వాళ్ళు త్వరలోనే కోలుకుంటారు

ఒత్తిడీ, దిగ్భ్రాంతీ వాళ్ళు నత్తిగా, అర్థంలేకుండా మాటాడేట్టు చేశాయి.

“వాళ్ళకి మళ్ళీ యుద్ధంలోకి వెళ్ళాలనిపిస్తుం” దనుకొండి సందేహం లేదు 

గాట్లుపడ్డమొహాలతో, నడవడం నేర్చుకుంటున్న ఈ సైనికులకి.

వాళ్ళు త్వరలోనే తమ నిద్రలేని రాత్రుళ్ళగురించి మరిచిపోతారు;

చనిపోయిన మిత్రుల ఆత్మలకు భయంతో మోకరిల్లడం కూడా,

హత్యలతో రక్తమోడుతున్న వాళ్ళ కలలూ, వాళ్ళ గర్వాన్ని సమూలంగా

హరించిన మాహా యుద్ధం గురించి ఇప్పుడు మహా గొప్పగా చెప్పుకుంటారు.

విచారంతోనూ, ఆనందంగానూ యుద్ధానికి వెళ్ళేరు పురుషులు

నిన్ను ద్వేషించే కళ్ళతో, దిక్కులేక, పిచ్చెక్కినట్టున్నారు పిల్లలు.
