దూరంగా పొద్దు కళ్ళు నులుపుకుంటోంది:

సూర్యుడు ఉదయించేడు, నేనూ లేవాలి,

కాలకృత్యాలు తీర్చుకుని, బట్టలేసుకుని, తిని, తాగి,

ప్రపంచాన్ని పరిశీలించి, మాటాడి, ఆలోచించి,

పనిచేసి… ఇవన్నీ ఎందుకుచేస్తున్నానో దేముడికెరుక. 

ఓహ్! ఎన్నిసార్లు స్నానంచేసి, బట్టలేసుకోలేదు!

ఇంత శ్రమపడినందుకూ ఫలితం ఏమైనా ఉందా?

హాయిగా పక్కమీద పడుకుని విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుంటాను:

పది వేలసార్లు నా శక్తివంచనలేకుండా పనిచేశాను

తిరిగి ప్రతీదీ మరోసారి చెయ్యడానికే.
