I know I know
No one meets with love on this
miry agonizing cataclysmic mundane path;
nor any plant takes root on this craggy surface;
that we are all helpless soldiers
fighting against hunger in the dark
and the clueless sailors
caught in a thunderstorm over high seas;
that the scissoring gales of life
allow no camaraderie between people
and not many moments are left for the bell to toll…
I know I know.
