ఇప్పటికైనా అనగలవా,
నైరూప్య ప్రేమలంటూ లేవని?

ఇంకా మన మధ్య మిగిలింది
కొన్ని అనుమానాలూ
అవమానాలూ
ఆ తరవాత నన్ను నువ్వో
నిన్ను నేనో కాల్చుకోడాలూ
పేల్చుకోడాలూ…

మనుషుల ముఖాలు
కేవలం
ఆకు పచ్చని ఆకులూ రంగు రంగుల పూలూ
అడవులూ ఆకసాలూ
మబ్బులూ కొండలూ కావు.
అవి కొన్ని రంగులు,
ఈ క్షణాన
అవి తెలుపూ నలుపూ!

ఇప్పటికైనా అనలేవా,
ఇవన్నీ నికార్సయిన ద్వేషాలే అని?
మన ప్రేమలూ నవ్వులూ
కప్పుకున్న ముఖాలే అని!

ఇన్ని చరిత్ర పేజీల తరవాత కూడా
ఇన్ని ఉద్వేగాల సహయానాల తరవాత కూడా
చివరికి నువ్వో రంగు
నేనో రంగు
అంతే!

వొక్క అనుమానమే చాలు కదా,
నిన్ను వేటాడి వేటు వేయడానికి!
వొక్క చూపే చాలు
నీ నిండు శరీరాన్ని
అందులోని నిండు ప్రాణాన్ని
ఆ ప్రాణంలోని నిండు గుండె చప్పుళ్ళని
మురికిపట్టి, చివికిపోయిన బొంతలా
అవతలకి విసిరి పారేయడానికి!
