ఏ నగ్నత్వం ఇంతకంటే అందంగా ఉంటుంది?
ఏ ఆచ్ఛాదనా లేని జిడ్డోడుతున్న ఈ కండరాలూ
గురితప్పని ఈ ఇనప కడ్డీలూ ఎన్నడూ ఆగవు
పక్కలంట పొడవుగా, మెరిసే ఈ ఇనప రేకు
కందెన కూడా పాడుచెయ్యలేని ఇంద్రజాలం.
భూమిని రెండుగా చీల్చగల ఈ భారీ యంత్రం
దాని కోపాన్ని ఉస్ ఉస్ అని నెమ్మదిగా ప్రకటిస్తుంది.
దాన్ని అయిష్టాన్ని వెళ్ళగక్కదు; సృష్టికర్తలమీద
చంపెద్దామన్నంత కోపంతో ఎదురుతిరగదు.
అయితే అంతకంటే తీవ్రమైన అక్కసు మనసులో దాచుకుంటుంది;
తనయజమానికి భుక్తి సంపాదించడానికి బ్రతుకుతూ
నియంత్రించడమే గాని నేర్చుకోలేని కామందుని చూసి
తనబానిస సృష్టించేదానికి బానిస ఔతున్నందుకు నవ్వుతుంది.
