She And Her Room — Siddhartha, Telugu, Indian

Whenever I sit in her room

The blue-shifts of her starry exhales

Reach, glowing unto me, from her eyes.

Like a Mediterranean Island

Basking in moonlight

She sits alone amidst four walls

And me, alone with her.

Making me a scorching sentence

She takes me along hugging, as she does a pet deer,

Into unhurt corporal locales.

The Room

The translucent air within

And her glistening moist looks

Make me an innocent convict awaiting sentence.

Aeons of dreams melt like candle wax

Through the rustle of calendars

And the overwhelming urge

Wanes in the strings of sound silence…

Whenever I carry me,

The yet unknown me to myself, to her room

Strange worlds embrace my knees

And two lives explore secret after secret.

.

Siddhartha.
